As riders ourselves, we’re devoted to the community, friendships, and memorable experiences built around motorcycles. Brought together by a passion for the thrill of life on two wheels, we’re always planning and running events both independently and with other riding organizations. Whether you’re curious about rides we’re hosting, dealership events, demo days or promotions, this is the place to check out all the happenings at Vancouver BMW Ducati.
Spring is here and it’s time to dust the Winter Web off the motorcycle and make sure that it’s in tip-top shape before you get out riding.
Your baby has been nicely snuggled away over the winter but now it’s time to get her out and prepped for the upcoming season of adventures! You need the security and comfort that your trusty steed is without problems as you bring her onto the road.
Question is, do you look at it to ensure it’s ready to safely get you down the road? Do you even know what to look for to ensure your upcoming rides will be uninterrupted by challenges or sitting at the side of a road?
It’s easy to forget what is important to look at but this seminar will give you a head start in getting you on the road safer and with more confidence.
Does not matter what brand or model that you have, there are some basic things that you should always check on your bike as you bring it out of storage from the Winter.
Come down to High Road Vancouver & Langley for this FREE seminar and we’ll help you learn the proper way of bringing your bike out of storage. It’s a great opportunity to learn from our certified BMW and Ducati technicians the ins and outs of your motorcycle, plus a chance to know the people who work tirelessly behind closed doors to make your ride a special one – every time.

This event is a precursor to the June 22nd Iron Butt Ride hosted by High Road Vancouver. It is open to anyone and everyone and is great information for anyone wanting to do long distance riding.
For the past eight years, we have assisted participants in completing a Saddle Sore 1000 Iron Butt Rally, completing 1600 km of riding in less than 24 hours!
This sounds insane, but virtually everyone that has set out to do it has completed this task and come back to the finish with immense smiles on their faces! There is a huge level of pride and riding confidence built by those that have managed to complete this venture.
The evening of May 23rd is an information session to discuss how to properly prepare yourself for this endeavor and the traps that people fall into those cause problems with successfully completing this feat.
Bill Watt, a well known Iron Butt Rally organizer, is coming to give you the low-down on Long Distance Riding … information that anyone wanting to do Touring of any kind would find valuable.
No matter what type of bike you ride, everyone can challenge themselves with doing the Iron Butt and see if they can honestly become an IBA member!
Last year we had numerous people complete the Iron Butt Saddle Sore from our dealership, men and women, BMW to Harley and Goldwing. Everyone and anyone can do it with the right information and knowledge! We even had one woman complete the ride on an S1000RR!
The Iron Butt Association has been around since 1984 promoting safe, long-distance motorcycle riding. It’s renowned and has over 53,000 members worldwide. We are certain many of you have ridden some long distances but to be part of this amazing group of people and wear the tag of an Iron Butt member, you must complete one of the sanctioned rides of the Association.
To be an official member of the group, one must ride 1000 miles or over 1,600 km in under 24 hours. It’s more challenging than one would think, and there are a lot of tips and traps to be aware of on such a ride.
Lucky for us, we have Bill Watt, a two time Iron Butt Rally finisher to join us to discuss the ride, routing, preparation, outfitting, and what it means to be an Iron Butt member. He’s full of great information and details and will be great preparation for the upcoming ride that High Road Vancouver is sponsoring.
