My name is Jeremy, I am on the other side of the service desk. I am an enthusiast of all things with two wheels and a chain, and here is my view of riding.
There are many reasons people choose two wheels over four, I find myself reaching for my handlebars over a steering wheel for many different reasons:
Just to get away from the day-to-day grind. There is no feeling like having a controlled explosion between your legs that provides an instant and ever-lasting smile, while at the same time allowing you to focus on the moment and truly relax. No matter what kind of ride I go on, I come home feeling refreshed.
“The man hunched over his motorcycle can focus only on the present… he is caught in a fragment of time cut off from both the past and the future… he has no fear, because the source of fear is in the future, and a person freed of the future has nothing to fear”
- Milan Kundera
There doesn’t always have to be a plan when you have a motorcycle. Bored? Grab your bike, your gear, a snack, and choose a direction. I promise you’ll have more fun than doing this in your civic. Go for a ride and see where it takes you. Just make sure you take some pictures so people believe you.
Motorcycling is more than just a hobby. We will go to great, sometimes difficult to understand lengths, to get out for a ride. We will ride in frigid weather just to squeeze out a few extra days from the season. We will endure pain and suffering just to get back on for one more session. Whether you commute daily, explore backroads, or spend the weekends at the track, the desire to be on two wheels is the same. It is in our blood and it’s what makes us different.
DID I MENTION… ANYTHING WITH TWO WHEELS AND A CHAIN…? 😉
WHY DO YOU RIDE?
This is why I ride, now I want to hear why YOU ride!
